We meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm in the Fellowship Room at the church. Everyone is welcome to come along no matter what their age.
At our regular gatherings there are board games for those who wish to play them. People are welcome to bring along their craft or knitting, or you can simply come along and enjoy some friendly conversation. There is a short devotion and some hymn singing which is then followed by an enjoyable afternoon tea.

Since 2008, Grovedale Baptist has been supporting families at Mandama Primary School by providing mentors under the Kids Hope program. Each mentor spends one hour per week with the same child engaging in games, cooking and any other activities the child wants to do.
The objective of the mentoring program is to provide emotional and social support to vulnerable children in the school. We currently providing over 12 mentors.

Every Wednesday from 8-9am a team from the church provides breakfast at Mandama Primary School to support the school community. Breakfast is a toasted cheese sandwich, fresh fruit, and a hot milo.
Children are welcome to choose what they would like and the breakfast operates through each school term. Grovedale Baptist have an offering at their Good Friday service each year to support the breakfast program.

We believe in the value of small groups. We run a KYB group online through Zoom.

We value the lives of those in Aged care and seek to meet their spiritual needs. Our team currently provides worship services at The Vue in Reserve Road each fortnight, Estia Health in Grovedale each month and Charles Brownlow Care Centre in Highton every three months.

As an expression of our support for the wider family of God, the Grovedale Baptist church building is used on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 3-8pm by the St Gregorios church community which is an Indian faith community.
